Chairman
Dombivli Shikshan Prasarak Mandal
Dear Students, Parents, Faculty Members, and Well-Wishers,
It is a privilege and a profound responsibility to address you as the Chairman of Dombivli Shikshan Prasarak Mandal and to serve the academic community of K. V. Pendharkar College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Autonomous). Our institution stands on a strong foundation of more than five decades of dedication to quality education, discipline, and social commitment. The legacy created by visionary leaders and sustained by committed educators has shaped generations of responsible citizens. Today, as we step into a new phase of growth, we must not only preserve this legacy but elevate it to new heights.
My vision for K.V. Pendharkar College (Autonomous) is clear — the college must emerge as the finest institution in the vicinity, known for academic rigor, professional excellence, and ethical leadership. Dombivli is a city of aspiration and intellectual potential, and our college possesses tremendous capacity for transformation. We aim to attract outstanding faculty, collaborate with industry and research bodies, strengthen interdisciplinary and skill-oriented programmes aligned with NEP 2020, and create a campus environment that reflects global standards while remaining rooted in Indian values.
World-class education is not defined merely by infrastructure; it is defined by standards, systems, and outcomes. It requires academic discipline, research orientation, innovation, mentorship, and holistic development. Our commitment is to ensure that students of Dombivli receive education that is competitive, contemporary, and character-building — without having to seek opportunities elsewhere. We will focus on strengthening governance, enhancing quality benchmarks, improving employability outcomes, and fostering a culture where excellence becomes a consistent habit rather than an occasional achievement.
I firmly believe that K.V. Pendharkar College (Autonomous) stands at a transformational juncture. With autonomy, experienced leadership, and collective determination, we have the opportunity to redefine educational standards in the region. This journey will require collaboration — from faculty who inspire, students who strive, parents who trust, and stakeholders who support. Together, we can build an institution that not only imparts knowledge but shapes confident, competent, and socially responsible leaders of tomorrow.
Let us move forward with conviction, discipline, and a shared commitment to excellence.
